Step Melange Light Grey is woven from the non-flammable yarn 100% Trevira CS, making the product suitable for use in home environment as well as in offices, institutions and other public areas where the requirements regarding safety and durability are the sharpest. The simple but characteristic structure is a light oatmeal weave, giving the fabric volume and making the direction more discrete. The fabric is thus especially suitable for use in upholstering, as apart from the discrete direction and good body, it also has a fine balance between stretch and elasticity in both warp and weft directions. For example, Step Melange can be used on the seat or other exposed areas on the item where the fabric’s mottled character will camouflage any smudging. This material has built-in flame-retardant properties, extremely durable and resistant to pilling, rubbing, light and passes heavy duty upholstery test.
